About the Programs

What medications are used in Bold You programs?+
Bold You programs use compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide, prescribed by licensed clinicians. Your provider individualizes the medication decision based on your goals, health history, and risk profile. Dispensing is handled through FDA-registered 503A and 503B compounding pharmacy partners.
What is the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?+
Semaglutide acts on GLP-1 pathways; tirzepatide adds GIP, giving it a dual mechanism. Which one fits you depends on your metabolic profile, goals, and tolerance — your provider recommends the fit, not a one-size-fits-all default.
What is the microdosing program and who is it for?+
Microdosing uses lower-dose protocols for appetite management, metabolic support, and maintenance goals — built for patients who don’t need or want a full-dose program. Eligibility is always provider-determined after clinical review.
How is this different from a local weight loss clinic?+
Bold You combines telehealth evaluation, prescribing, medication fulfillment, and coaching in one continuous workflow — no repeated office visits, no insurance friction, licensed provider oversight throughout. Built for consistency, not one-time visits.

Medications & Safety

What happens if I have side effects?+
Contact care support through the portal for clinical guidance and escalation. Your provider can adjust titration pace, timing, or supportive strategies as needed. If symptoms are urgent or severe, seek emergency care immediately.
Can I get labs through Bold You Wellness?+
Your provider orders labs when clinically appropriate — based on your pathway, medical history, and state-specific requirements. Lab data sharpens treatment precision and safety.
Is this available if I have diabetes?+
Patients with diabetes may qualify — it depends on current medications and risk factors, confirmed through provider review. Not every program fits every patient profile.
Do you offer testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)?+
TRT options may be available through our men’s health pathway when clinically indicated and legally supported in your state. Additional evaluation — including labs — may be required before a treatment decision. All prescribing is clinician-led, not automated.

Pricing & Insurance

Do I need insurance to use Bold You Wellness?+
No insurance required. Bold You runs on a direct-pay model — no prior authorization delays, no denials. Pay by credit card, or use HSA/FSA if your plan is eligible.
Will my price increase as my dose goes up?+
No. Your price is flat for the life of your plan — it doesn’t change as your dose goes up. Any plan-level change is always communicated before it takes effect.
Can I use this for hormone therapy only?+
In many states, yes — hormone-focused care is available without a GLP-1-first pathway, depending on provider assessment and state regulations. Clinical fit is reviewed individually, never assumed.

Getting Started

How long before I receive my medication?+
Provider review takes 24–48 hours from intake. Once approved, your medication ships within 2–3 business days from our compounding pharmacy — most patients receive their first shipment within 5–7 business days of completing intake.
Is Bold You Wellness available in my state?+
Yes — all 50 states. State-specific telehealth and prescribing requirements still apply, and your intake is automatically routed to meet them.
Can I cancel or pause my subscription?+
Month-to-month subscribers can cancel anytime before their next billing date — no penalty. Bundle subscribers (12, 24, or 52-week) have paid upfront for their term; cancellation stops future renewals but doesn’t refund the prepaid period. We also offer a pause option — up to 60 days without losing your provider relationship or coach assignment.

Hormones & Specialty Programs

How does care coaching work?+
Coaching sessions cover adherence, appetite strategy, side-effect management, and consistency — bi-weekly or monthly depending on your plan. The goal is better long-term retention and outcomes, not just a prescription.
What happens when I reach my goal weight?+
Your provider transitions you to a maintenance strategy based on your progress and risk profile. Coaching shifts to relapse prevention and sustainable routines — the goal is keeping the results, not just reaching them.
