Symptoms College Station Patients
Often Describe

Testosterone declines naturally starting around age 30, roughly 1–2% per year. By your mid-40s, levels may have dropped enough to cause real symptoms even if annual bloodwork shows you within the so-called normal range.

Persistent fatigue that a full night of sleep doesn't fix
Difficulty building or maintaining muscle despite consistent training
Increased body fat, especially around the midsection
Low motivation or drive at work and in your personal life
Reduced libido or noticeable changes in sexual function
Brain fog or difficulty staying focused
Mood changes, including irritability or a persistent low mood
Longer recovery time after physical activity
These symptoms overlap with many conditions. A licensed provider reviews your complete health history to determine whether testosterone therapy is appropriate for you.

What TRT Actually Does

TRT introduces clinician-prescribed testosterone cypionate — an esterified form of testosterone with a gradual release window — to restore circulating testosterone directly, rather than stimulating your body's own production.

Testosterone is supplied directly

Unlike Enclomiphene, which signals your body to produce more of its own testosterone, TRT replaces it directly. Your own production typically slows while on therapy, since the body senses adequate levels from the outside supply.

Three delivery formats

Testosterone cypionate injection is the most prescribed format — weekly or biweekly, with consistent levels throughout the week. Topical gel and once-daily oral tablet are also available. Your provider recommends the format that fits your health history.

Effects develop over 8–16 weeks

Energy and sleep often improve first, within weeks 1–6. Libido, strength, and body composition changes become more noticeable by weeks 8–12. Full effects typically develop by week 12 and beyond, confirmed with quarterly labs.

Quarterly monitoring, in-person labs

Labs are drawn in-person at Quest or Labcorp nationwide, included in your price, with no appointment needed at most locations. Your provider reviews results quarterly and conducts a brief visit to discuss progress and any dose adjustments.

Not the Only Option for
Low Testosterone in College Station

TRT is a Schedule III controlled substance, which means real regulatory requirements apply that don't apply to every testosterone-support option. If you'd rather avoid a controlled substance, or want to preserve fertility, Enclomiphene may be worth discussing with your provider.
